Elected Official Meet and Greet – July 2011

On July 13, 2011 the TVBA hosted a “Meet and Greet” for our local elected officials.  This event was our chance to say “THANK YOU” to our elected public servants for the job they do in serving veterans in our community.  In attendance we had members of Senator Corker’s and Senator Alexander’s staff, members of Congressman Duncan’s staff, Knox County Mayor Burchette, Knoxville City Mayor Brown, and many city councilmen and county commissioners.  This event was a great opportunity for our members to meet their representatives on a personal level, and again – say THANK YOU!  We are looking forward to the 2012 event!
