Government Relations
Rod Nelson of Vetco, LLC, and also a Board Member in our Government Relations Committee, has woked with Bill Carder of GEM Technologies on a response to DOE on the Y-12 National Security Complex M&O re-compete. DOE is exploring the idea of bundling these facilities into a Single Management and Operating contract competition for the operations of the Y-12 National Security Complex, the Pantex Plant, the Y-12 Uranium Processing Facility, with an option for Savannah River Tritium Operation Request for Proposal No. DE-SOL-0001458.
The problem is the draft RFP did not have any language that adressed small business goals for these very large government contracts. Rod and Bill took the time to suggest small business goals and add this lanugage to the RFP.

Click here to see the letter we wrote. Feel free to send along from your company.
